Based in Warsaw, Poland, ENT draws upon the knowledge and R&D capabilities of Dr. Wlodzimierz Strupinski and his team at the Institute of Electronic Materials Technology (ITME).

Dr. Wlodzimierz Strupinski

Dr. Wlodzimierz Strupinski received his PhD in physics from Warsaw University of Technology in 1988, and has more than 30 years’ experience in III-V materials technology for micro- and opto-electronics, silicon carbide compounds for high-power electronics, and graphene and other 2D nanomaterials. He also has expertise in developing and managing projects for government and the EU, such as the Graphene Flagship Project.

Dr. Strupinski interacts regularly with international research centers and commercial entities in the realm of III-V semiconductor compounds and graphene application. His expertise in nanotechnology and his experience in innovative research ensure ITME’s success.

The Institute of Electronic Materials Technology (ITME) is a leading Polish institute specialising in materials research for developing innovative components used in electronics, micromechanics and microsystems. Its more than 300 employees have broad experience in fabricating materials for electronics, ceramic composites, nanomaterials and in creating new-generation products such as graphene and other 2D materials.

Although ITME conducts research for the Polish government and the European Union, a significant part of its revenue comes from commercial activity.

Our team

ENT’s 20-strong team of professionals offer in-depth knowledge of and wide experience in the semiconductor industry. With backgrounds in physics, chemistry, electronics and material science, the team has compiled a proven track record in III-V semiconductor epitaxy. Our postdoctoral researchers, PhD students and technologists work in close collaboration with ITME’s scientists.

The team members are actively involved in a number of long-term research programs aimed at boosting the development of semiconductor technology.
