What We Do

Our core competence is epitaxy. Our end product is a compound semiconductor wafer. We create atomically engineered epitaxial layers of binary, ternary, quaternary and quinary III-V compound semiconductor by MOCVD epitaxy, which is the deposition of thin crystalline films (1nm to several micrometers) on GaAs or InP substrates.

Our epi-wafers are characterized by precisely controlled thickness, chemical composition and electrical properties as well as excellent uniformity and reproducibility. We excel at creating epitaxial structures tailored to match varied needs, helping our clients gain and maintain a competitive edge.

Dr. Wlodzimierz Strupinski, Founder and CEO

Dr. Strupinski has more than 30 years’ experience in III-V semiconductor compounds technology for micro- and opto-electronics, silicon carbide compounds for high-power electronics, graphene and other 2D nanomaterials. He specializes in vapor phase epitaxy and metallorganic vapor phase epitaxy of GaAs-, InP-, GaN-related, SiC and graphene.

His research interest includes epi-structures for transistors, microwave diodes, varactors, lasers, photodetectors, waveguides, LEDs, QDs, SOA, etc. He has developed many epitaxial technologies which later were successfully used in experimental or commercial production. He also has expertise in developing and managing projects for government and the EU, such as the Graphene Flagship Project. He received his PhD in physics from Warsaw University of Technology in 1988.
